Action for Trade Press Release: New Poll: Majority of Americans Want NAFTA to Better Protect American IP
A poll released on January 23, 2018 from Action for Trade shows three in four Americans want to protect U.S. innovations and creativity.
Three in four voters (73 percent) believe that NAFTA should be updated to better protect and value U.S. inventions and creativity, according to a poll released today by ACTION for Trade, a coalition of trade associations, technology companies, and creative organizations.
The poll comes as trade negotiators from the United States, Canada, and Mexico are meeting in Montréal through January 29 for the sixth round of talks about renegotiating the terms of NAFTA.
