Innovation Alliance Statement on Reintroduction of Restoring America’s Leadership in Innovation Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Innovation Alliance Executive Director Brian Pomper today issued the following statement on the reintroduction of the Restoring America’s Leadership in Innovation Act (RALIA) by Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY):

“The Innovation Alliance commends Representative Massie for reintroducing the Restoring America’s Leadership in Innovation Act. Like the STRONGER Patents Act, this bill would strengthen patent rights, giving small inventors the tools they need to protect their innovations from theft by Big Tech companies and other large corporations. Securing strong patent protections for American innovators is also needed to ensure the United States can compete with China in the race for leadership in key areas of technology, including AI, quantum computing, 5G and medical technology. We urge Congress to enact legislation to strengthen patent rights as soon as possible.”
