Innovation Alliance Event: IA Joins Prominent Oklahoma Universities, Organizations to Discuss the STRONGER Patents Act of 2017

UCO to Host OSU, OU, Dunlap Codding, OMRF and the Innovation Alliance to Discuss the STRONGER Patents Act of 2017

Statewide universities, well-known intellectual property firm, Dunlap Codding and Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation along with the Innovation Alliance, form a panel with Ted Streuli of THE JOURNAL RECORD as moderator to answer questions about the federal bill and innovation in Oklahoma.

In light of a new legislative effort, the STRONGER Patents Act of 2017, a panel discussion will be held on Thursday, October 5th at 10 AM.

The event responds to problems with changes to the patent system which hamper innovation and ingenuity. Currently, the US is ranked 10th for patents in the world. Our panelists will address this issue and talk about how the new bill sponsored by Senators Coons and Cotton could help fix this problem.
